Morton, IL - Evelyn F. Brinker Freed, 84, of 191 Queenwood Road died at 10:15 p.m. Monday, June 19, 2000, at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria.
Born March 5, 1916, in East Peoria to William and Lucinda Hopkins Riddle, she married Fred Brinker. She later married Otis Freed Jr. on Jan. 12, 1968. He died Sept. 28, 1982.
She also was preceded in death by one son, Roy Brinker, and one sister.
Surviving are four sons, Harley (and Carol) Brinker of Creve Coeur, Carl Brinker of East Peoria, Ronald Brinker of Chillicothe and Allen Brinker of Decatur; one daughter, Barbara (and Burt) Bogard of Seminole, Fla.; 16 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church in East Peoria.
Burial will be in Fondulac Cemetery.
