Helen E. Schneider, 48, passed away Thursday, April 9, 1959, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.

Funeral services were 3:30 p.m., Sunday, April 12, at Snider Funeral Home in West Liberty, with The Rev. Ray E. Orr, pastor of the Methodist Church officiating. Burial was in Oak Ridge Cemetery, West Liberty, Iowa.

Helen E. Schneider was born March 11, 1911, in rural Cedar County, the daughter of Jurgen "Fred" and Wilhelmina "Minnie" (DeMuth) Schneider. She received her education in the rural schools. She was a lifetime resident of the West Liberty area. She never married.

Surviving are six brothers, William, John, Fred, George, Henry and LeRoy Schneider, all of West Liberty; six sisters, Agnes Kortum of Stanwood, Minnie Schroeder of Tipton, Mary LaMaack of Davenport and Emma Beiermann, Mabel Jensen and Alma Heick, all of West Liberty; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
