Catherine Marie Brinkerhoff, age 94, a resident of Greene Township, Jay County, passed away on Tuesday, June 8,m 2010, at Westminster Village in Muncie. Catherine was born on March 2, 1916, in Jay County, Indiana, the daughter of Irvin Claude and Inez Opal (Loy) Rockwell. She graduated from Fort Recovery High School in 1933. Catherine and her husband farmed for many years in Greene Township, Jay County. She was past President of Jay County Home Makers Extension Club and a member of the Women's Methodist Association at Blaine United Methodist Church. Catherine married Floyd Brinkerhoff on May 11, 1935, and he preceded her in death on February 27, 2003.

Dennis N. Brinkerhoff (wife Carol) – Ladoga, Indiana

Sharon Pyle – Fort Wayne, Indiana
1 brother: Levon Rockwell – Portland, Indiana
13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren
She was preceded in death by 1 sister, Duetta Thomas.
Visitation for Catherine Brinkerhoff will be held on Saturday from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. in the Portland Chapel of the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Portland Chapel of the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home. Dennis Brinkerhoff will officiate and burial will follow in the Salamonia Cemetery in Salamonia, Indiana
