News-Sentinel, The (Fort Wayne, IN) - Saturday, March 1, 2003 Deceased Name: Floyd S. Brinkerhoff Portland - 1914-2003 Floyd S. Brinkerhoff, 88, of Portland, a retired Greene Township farmer, died Thursday, Feb. 28, 2003, at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne.
The Jay County native was also retired from Sheller Globe Corp. in Portland after more than 40 years of service. Surviving are his wife, Catherine M.; sons Gail M. of Frederick, Md., Cloyce E. of Portland and Dennis N. of Waveland; daughters Janet J. Minch of Muncie and Sharon E. Pyle of Fort Wayne; 13 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Services are 11 a.m. Monday at Williamson & Spencer Funeral Home, Portland Chapel, Portland, with calling from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be at Salamonia Cemetery, Salamonia. Memorials are to Blaine United Methodist Church.
