Obituary (Probably the Daily Register in Gainesville, TX) Wed., March 8, 1978 "Henry E. Tatum" A former longtime Gainesville resident, Henry E. Tatum, died in Garland Tuesday night. He resided at 1922 Castle Dr. in Garland and was a native of Farmerville. Services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Geo.J. Carroll & Son Chapel. The Rev. Ernest Acker will offficiate, with interment to be in Rest Haven Memorial Park. Survivors are his wife, Bessie E. Tatum; three daughters, Mrs. Ernest Acker, Ruth Aldridge and Betty Johnson all of Dallas; three sons, Ed Tatum of McKinney, Bob and Jack Tatum of Fort Worth; one brother R. E. Tatum of Gainesville; seven grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren The family will receive friends at the funeral home tonight from 7 to 8 o'clock.
