Funeral services were held Saturday, June 24 at 3pm from Chapel Mayo-Lord Funeral Home with Rev. J. Emory Lindsey officiating. Interment was in Brownwood Cemetery.
Mr. Prosser was born August 7, 1921 in Washington County. He was the son of John Prosser and Janie Brooks Prosser. He was a retired heavy equipment operator and a member of Sisters Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Dessie Prosser of Sandersville; two daughters, Evie Smith of N. Augusta, S.C. and Gloria Smith of Tennille; one son, Roger Prosser of Sandersville, one sister, Edna Robinson of Sandersville, and four grandchildren.
Active pallbearers were his nephews. Mayo-Lord Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
