Funeral services were held Tuesday, Feb. 21 at 3pm at Sisters Baptist Church with Rev. Richard Mongomery of Milledgeville officiating. Interment was in Brownwood Cemetery.
Mr. Prosser was born Sept. 17, 1923 in Washington County, the son of the late John R. Prosser and the late Mrs. Janie Brooks Prosser. He was owner and operator of Prosser Trucking Company and a member of Cooperville Baptist Church. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Woodman of the World.
Survivors include his wife; Mrs. Willis Prosser, Wrens; two daughters, Miss Betty Prosser, Wrens, and Mrs. Louise Paulk, Ambrose, Ga.; a granddaughter, Brandy Paulk, Ambrose; a sister, Mrs. Edna Robinson, Sandersville; a brother, Melvin Prosser, Sandersville; several nieces and nephews and other relatives.
Active pallbearers were Jesse Prosser, Floyd Prosser, Charlie Prosser, Lucky Howard Robinson, Jr., Malcom Prosser, Alonza Prosser.
Mayo Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
