Mar. 2, 1922 at Otis, KS. Died June 13, 1965 at Maryville, MO. Parents are Floyd and Elma (Keil) Brack of Otis, KS. Their children are Connie Lou, Marvin Allen, Arlen Dale, Denise Ann and Anita Kay, all of the home at Sharon Springs, KS. Brothers and sisters are: LaVern A. Brack, Otis, Kansas; Mrs. Ruben (Lavina) Bender, Russell; and Mrs. Albert (Darlene) Bender, Salina, Kansas. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith and was a member of the Sharon Springs Lutheran Church. He was manager of Klema's I.G.A. Store at Sharon Springs and was active in civic, social and community affairs. During World War II, he served in the Armed Forces of his country. He was a former member of the Wm. Roe Post, American Legion at Russell.
The Casket Bears are: Eldon Rohn, Bob Johnson, Ernie Tindle, Floyde David, Everett Linton and Paul Dietz. Military honors will be conducted at graveside by the American Legion and V.F.W."

Born December 9, 1929, south Russell County, Kansas. Died June 13, 1965 at Maryville, Mo. Parents are Henry Bender, Jr. and Lena Bender, both of Russell, Kansas. She was baptized in early infancy and confirmed in the Lutheran faith in 1943. They were united in marriage at Otis, Kansas on May 23, 1948. They made their home at Russell for a number of years while Marvin was employed at Klema's I.G.A. Store. For the past three years their home has been at Sharon Springs. Her brothers and sisters are Leah Stoffel, Wichita; Helen Maier, Hays; Herbert H. Bender, Russell; Herbert Bender, Great Bend, Kansas, and Albert Bender of Salina, Kansas. Casket Bearers for Thelma are H. F. Schem, Dean Schem, Harold Deines, David Westerberg, Arthur Mai and Arthur Howard.

Will be conducted Wednesday, June 16, 1965

at 1:30 p.m. from the Deines Brothers Funeral Home
Followed by Final Rites from the Lutheran Church at Otis, Kansas, at 2:30 p.m. Interment will be in the Galatia Cemetery. The Rev. K. David Nordstrom, Pastor of the Sharon Springs Church will officiate with Pastors Theo. Judt of Otis, Kansas and L. P. Larson of Sharon Springs, assisting. Music will be by the Sharon Springs Church Choir and a quartette from Otis, Kansas
