Otis - Floyd Brack, 77, died Monday at Hoisington Hospital. He was born May 8, 1900, in Barton Co.. He married Elma Keil, Nov. 9, 1919, at Otis. She died Sept. 29, 1970. He was a retired farmer and carpenter and lived her since 1975, moving from Galatia.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Otis.
Survivors include one son, LaVern of Otis; two daughters, Mrs. Ruben (LaVina) Bender of Russell and Mrs. Albert (Darlene) Bender of Salina; one brother, Edwin of Otis; one sister, Hannah Brack of Albert; 10 grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the church with the Rev. Theo Judt officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Galatia. Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home, Hoisington and from 10 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the church. The family suggests memorials of the donor's choice."
A second obituary from Mrs. Janet Flickenger reads virtually word for word of the one I already have except it states "A son, Marvin, preceded him in death in 1965".
