WILHOITE, ARTHUR - 61, Strawberry Plains, brother of Carl Wilhite of Maryville and Mrs. Nola Mae Hancock of Townsend, died early Wednesday at Mountain Home Veterans Hospital.
Other survivors: wife, Mrs. Clara Sliger Wilhoite of Strawberry Plains; sons, Donald R. of the U.S. Air Force, David A. of Fresno, Calif., Hal E. Wilhoite and Guy Wilhoite; six grandchildren; brothers, Burl and Billy Wilhite, Sherman Wilhite of Knoxville, Ralph Wilhite of California; sister, Mrs. Imogene Flattre of California; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 1:30 P.M. Friday at McCarty Mortuary Chapel, Knoxville. Interment will be in Trentville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 P.M. to 9 P.M. today at the mortuary.
