Member of Thorngrove Christian Church. Preceded in death by wife, Florence and son, Carl Jr. Survivors: sons and daughters-in-law, Herb and Susan Wilhite, Straw Plains; daughter and son-in-law, Vicki and Ralph Johnson, New Market; grandchildren, Sabrina Wilhite, Jenny and Jaime Johnson, Scott Cate; special friend, Diana Buckner; brothers, Bill, Ralph and Burl Wilhite all of Straw Plains; sisters, Imogene Flattre of California, Nola Mae Hancock, Townsend.
