GARDINER --- Mrs. Cora B. Lessard, 78, died at her home, 64 Townsend Place, Saturday evening following a lingering illness.
She was born in Skowhegan, May 1, 1882, the daughter of Peter and Pauline (Poulin) Turcotte.
Survivors include three sons, Alfred W., Edmond G., both of Lewiston and Joseph E. of Gardiner; five daughters, Mrs. Claude Hutchings, Mrs. Henry Gilson, both of Gardiner, Mrs. Fred Beckwith of New Britain, Conn., Mrs. George Curtis of Farmingdale and Mrs. Victor Greenleaf of Gardiner; a brother, Frank Turcotte, Skowhegan, and a sister, Mrs. William Provost of Skowhegan; 41 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and the widow of Alfred Lessard
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church at 10 a.m.

Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, Gardiner.
