He graduated from Gardiner High School class of 1925 and Gorham Normal School in 1928.
He taught at Lewiston High School for 42 years until retiring in 1972 as head of the industrial arts woodworking department.
He is survived by a daughter Betty Anne Mauzy of Lewiston, ME; a brother Joseph Lessard of Gardiner, ME; three sisters Marie Hutchins; Lillian Gilson and Julia Curtis each of Gardiner, ME.
