Lucy D. Marrs
Lucy D. Marrs, 73, of Bloomington, died Wednesday at Bloomington Convalescent Center.
Born February 18, 1918, in Monroe County, she was the daughter of Joseph Henry and Lillian (Ham) Hamm. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include three daughters of Bloomington; three brothers, Elmer Hamm and a younger brother, both of Bloomington and Charles Hamm of Gosport; two sisters, Mary Koontz of Sun City, Arizona and Alice Hall of Richmond, California; seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William G. Marrs, in 1981; two brothers and five sisters.
Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Allen Funeral Home with the Rev. Richard Borden officiating.
Burial will be in Knightridge Cemetery.
Friends may call 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
