Jennie was born Jan. 6, 1918, to parents Elmer and Beulah Titus in Greenville. She married James "Max" Lacy in Greenville in 1935. She earned a bachelor's and master's from East Texas State Teachers College, and was a retired teacher and librarian. Mrs. Lacy was a member of First Baptist Church in Commerce.
A son, Larry Lacy of Austin; a sister, Pauline of San Antonio; and five grandchildren survive her.
Jennie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers Millard and Elmer Titus, and sister Annabel Titus.
