Dies Thursday
CHESHIRE - Funeral services for Lewis H. Spires, 76, who died Thursday night at his home in Cheshire will be held Sunday at 2 p.m., with interment in the Gravel Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Spires, who was preceded in death by his first wife, Rebecca Conkle Spires and two sons, Howard, World War I veteran and Wesley leaves these children of this union: Mrs. Bethel Grover, Cheshire, John, of Mogadore, Ohio; Oscar of Cheshire.
Also surviving are his widow, Mrs. Lewis H. Spires and these sons and daughters, Margie Gardner, Bloomdale, Emerson of Cheshire, Stanley of Kyger, Lawrence and Frances Price, Dorothy Underwood, Clair and Mildred Spires all of Fostoria; Chester of Kyger; Ralph of the U.S. Army stationed in Germany, Hilda French of Zanesville, Virginia McCumber, Middleport, Marie Gilmore and Ted Spires at home; 34 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
