Mildred Heinze

Mildred Heinze, 80, of 1521 N. Countyline St. in Fostoria died at 11:35 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2001, at St. Catherine's Care Center, Fostoria.

She was born Jan. 9, 1921, in Gallia County, Ohio to Lewis and Pansy (Walsh) Spires. Both are deceased. She married Delbert Heinze on Dec. 28, 1967, in Findlay and he survives in Fostoria.

Survivors also include: a brother, Ted Spires of Defiance; four sisters, Dorothy Underwood of Fostoria, Hilda French of McConnelsville, Ohio, Virginia Addlesburger of Gallipolis, and Marie Powers of Huntington, W. Va.

Preceding her in death include: six brothers, Clair, Stanley, Emerson, Chester, Ralph, and Lawrence Spires; and two sisters, Frances Price and Margie Gardner.

Mrs. Heinze was a homemaker and a member of the Fostoria Eagles Auxiliary; Ladies of the Moose; and VFW Auxiliary of Fostoria.

Services will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday in Hoening Funeral Home in Fostoria. The Rev. David Chapman will be the officiant. Burial will be in Knollcrest Gardens in Arcadia.

Visitation is 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
