Born in Minden,Westfalia. Listed as Luise Sudmeier, age 7, she arrived at Ellis Island on February 8, 1901, on the ship TRAVE, from Bremen, along with brothers Gus and Bill, and sister, Lena. Louise became very ill during the crossing and was moved from steerage class to first class by the ship's doctor so she could be better cared for.

Children: Walter Claud Huff, Jr., Waneta Lorraine Huff Anderson, and Marjorie Anna Huff Meagher.
