Mrs. Hodges Dies (Special to The American)
Bertram, Texas, October 30 – Mrs. C. C. Hodges died Thursday after being a sufferer with cancer for some time. The deceased would have been 74 years old had she lived until December. Interment was made Friday afternoon in the Bear Creek cemetery, with the Rev. O. Mealor, Cumberland Presbyterian pastor conducting the service.
