Miss Tinnie Askew
Funeral services were held at three o'clock Friday afternoon for Miss Tinnie Askew aged 83 who died at her home at eleven o'clock Thursday night. Services were conducted at the home of Rev. Robert W. Read, pastor of the First Baptist church and interment was under the direction of the Friedrich Funeral Home at the Presbyterian cemetery. Pallbearers were Messrs. T. E. Buey, R. T. Cooper, J. E. Cooper, G. W. Johns, J. R. Shaw, Ernest Johnson.
Deceased was born in Murray county Tennessee March 19, 1850. Her parents came to Texas when she was a very small child and she has lived here all her life. She united with the Presbyterian Church when a girl. She leaves one sister, Mrs. Agnes Brinklum surviving.
