Mrs. Agnes Brinklum
Mrs. Agnes Brinklum, aged 81, a resident of Georgetown since 1859, died at her home on North Brushy street Thursday morning at 9:10 o'clock as a consequence of an illness of some duration dating from a fall several weeks ago when she broke her hip.
Funeral services were held at the home at 3 o'clock Thursday afternoon, interment being made in the Presbyterian cemetery by the side of her husband who preceded her in death by ten years. Rev. Robert W. Read, pastor of the First Baptist church was the officiating clergyman and the details of the funeral were in charge of the Davis undertakers.
Deceased is the last of a family of eight, father, mother, five sisters and one brother, who came to Texas from Tennessee in 1859, locating in Georgetown where in after years they became the owners of valuable property.
Deceased was born in Murray County, Tennessee, June 29, 1852. Her parents came to Texas when she was a small child and she has lived here all her life.
