Emil was an infant when he traveled to America with his parents, Edward and Bertha, in 1878, locating in Evansville, Ind., In 1898, he was living with the famly at 509 E Columbia in Evansville and working as a fireman, according to the city directory. On June 30, 1903, he married Lillian Hoffman. It appears they only had one child, Edward Samuel Weber Jan. 28, 1904. Emil worked as a furniture worker and lived at 226 E. Oregon St. in Evansville, in 1927 according to son Edward's marriage record.Emil died while living at 2104 Vogel Road in Evansville. He and Lillian are buried at Locust Hill Cemetery.

June 25, 1948, Evansville Courier:
Funeral services for Emil Weber, 70, of 2104 Vogel road, who died at 10:50 o'clock Tuesday night at the Comfort rest home, will be held at 2 o'clock this afternoon at the Ziemer funeral home, with Rev. John R.C. Hass officiating. Burial will be in Locust Hill cemetery.

Mr. Weber was a retired stationary engineer and had been employed by the Y.M.C.A. and Atlas laundry.

Surviving are one son, Ed; and four sisters, Mrs. Clara Merle, Mrs. Anna Wheeler, Mrs. Lena Herlman (sic), and Mrs. Carrie Giles all of Evansville, and two grandchildren.
