Florence Ulrey Connelly, 86, of 504 N.W. 1st St., Casey, died at 7:50 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 4,1985 at Heartland Manor in Casey.

Funeral services were today, Thursday, at 1:30 p.m. at the Markwell Funeral Home in Casey with Rev. Hugh Smith officiating. Burial was in the Ridgelawn Cemetery Martinsville.

She was born May 23, 1898 in Clark County to Newton and Patsy Smith Ulrey.

She married Sylvan Connelly on May 22, 1915 and he preceded her in death in 1966.

Surviving are: five sons, Ernest Connelly of Rt. 2, Casey, Sylvan Connelly, Jr. of Whigham, Ga., Dewayne Connelly of Robinson, Dean Connelly of Peoria and Leon Connelly of Joliet; two daughters, Rachel Bright of Casey and Rosemary Burris of Ft. Myers, Fla.; four brothers, Wayne Ulrey of Bridgeport, Ill, Kenneth Ulrey of Casey, Virgil Ulrey of Clay City, Raymond Ulrey of Martinsville; three sisters, Lora Melton of Martinsville, Emily Clark of Delaware, Ohio, Estella Dorsett of Terre Haute; 36 grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons and two daughters.
