FOREST L CONNELLY Valparaiso, IN
Forest L Connely, age 73, of Valparaiso passed away March 9, 2008 at the Porter Portage Hospital Campus. He was born October 24, 1934 in Martinsville, IL to the late Sylvan and Florence Ulrey Connelly. He is a retired member of the Operating Engineers Local Union #150 having worked for Sexton Construction for 30 years.
He is survived by his wife Mary Ellen (Croteau) Connelly, seven children; Ray (Connie) Connelly, Cindy Maciaga, Randal (Rhonda) Richardson, Jennifer Connelly, Kim (Jim) Merrell, Teresa (Dennis) Conklin, and Mark(Debi) Richardson; 14 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 10 brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 13, 2008 at Edmonds and Evans Funeral Home Portage Chapel with Rev. David A. Easterday officiating. Burial will follow in Heritage Cemtery. Friends may call from 4 - 8 p.m. thursday at Edmonds and Evans Funeral Home, 6941 Central Avenue, Portage, Indiana.
