Obituary, THE RECORD - Aug. 30, 2006 HOLST, Harvey - Peacefully passed away on August 29, 2006, at Sunnyside Home, Kitchener, with his family by his side, at the age of 85. Beloved husband of Edith (nee Herchenrader) of 62 years. Loving father of Harvey (Anne), Harry (Kathy), the late Harold (1962), Howard (Giselle), Judy Susanna (Rudy), and Joyce Thomas (Barry). Harvey will be remembered by 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Survived by his brothers and sisters Viola, George (Grace), Luella Sauder (Wesley) and John (the late Beatrice). Also by his sister-in-laws Ellen, Joanna, Mae, Susan, Linda, Shirley and Louise. Predeceased by his siblings Irene, Albert, Margaret, Delton, Clarence, Walter and his in-laws Dorothy, Harry, Alfred, Stan, and his daughter-in-law Sandy. Harvey was a longtime employee of Carlings/Labatts. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 621 King Street West, Kitchener on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Friday at 2 p.m. at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 825 King St. West, Kitchener, with visitation at the church one hour prior. Interment at St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, Kitchener. Reception to follow at the church hall. The staff and personal friends at Pioneer Tower and Three Bridges at Sunnyside Home are to be commended for their loving and personal care.
