RICE, Hettie – Died, on Monday night, October 25, 1893 at her mother's residence, Pea Ridge, of paralysis, Hettie Rice, aged 40 years. The deceased was born in McMinn county, Tenn., was the daughter of the late C.M. Rice. She was stricken with paralysis Sunday, only surviving a few hours. The remains were interred in the Pea Ridge cemetery. The sympathy of our community goes out to the relatives. [Benton County Democrat – Bentonville, Benton County, Arkansas – June 29, 1893]
