Kenneth Monroe "Kenny" Miller was born on Nov. 8, 1957 in Danville, Boyle Co., Kentucky. His parents, who resided in Parksville (Boyle County), were Estill Lee "Pete" Miller ( 1916-1996) and Eva "Evie" King (1920-1999). He was the youngest of their twelve known children. Both of his parents and five of his siblings proceeded him in death.

Kenny's father, Pete, was born in Honaker, Russell Co., Virginia. Pete's parents, who divorced in 1919, were Ambrose Parr Miller (1893-1953) and Ada Alice Honaker (1894-1980). Ambrose died in Honaker, VA while Ada, who had moved to Parksville, Boyle Co., KY, died there in 1980. She is buried in the Perryville Cemetery (aka Hillcrest Cemetery) in Perryville, Boyle Co., KY.

Kenny's mother, Eva, was born in Parksville, Boyle Co. KY, in her parent's home on Tennessee Ridge. She was the daughter of Thomas Letcher "Tom"King (1881-1973) and Minna Susan "Minnie" Gooch (1884-1971). They had moved to Boyle County about 1816 from Kingtown, McCreary Co., KY and lived/farmed on Tennessee Ridge for about 50 years. Both are buried in the Parksville Cemetery.

Kenny, who never married, lived for many years on Tank Pond Road just outside Parksville. He was a good natured person who usually had a smile on his face. He was very social and loved to be around people. He also loved to work.

Kenny died on Apr. 29, 2020 in Danville, Boyle Co., KY, at the age of 62. At the time of his death he had been living in Junction City in Boyle County. Kenny is buried in the Parksville Cemetery, next to his parents.
