Mrs Wilson Pittenger died on Tuesday morning after a long and painful illness, and was buried in the Pontiac/South Side Cemetery. The funeral services were held in the Methodist Episcopal Church, the sermon preached by Rev E Wasmuth.

Augusta Anna Pittenger was a daughter of John and Joanna Kay and had been a sufferer for a long time, being almost entirely helpless during the past two years.
