Obituary published in Claiborne Parish Trails (1995, No.4) from an undated newspaper clipping found in the estate of Kermit Knighton of Gibsland in 1975:

Mrs. Claud BAKER, died Sunday night, July 19, 1925 of Mt. Lebanon, La. Formerly Miss Lynn AUBREY, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. H. L. Aubrey, Sr. of Mt. Lebanon. Death occurred suddenly from a brain hemorrhage while playing the opening hymns of the evening service at the outdoor revival meeting of the Gibsland Baptist Church.

Funeral services were held at the Baptist church in Mt . Lebanon on Monday at 3:30 o'clock by Rev. J. C. Cox and Rev. E. E. Huntsberry. Two quartet numbers were sung by Mesdames J. C. Cox, L. H. Warre, and Messrs Byron & Charlie Cox with Mrs. E. E. Huntsberry at the piano. The funeral cortege was so large that the line of cars reached without a break from the church to the cemetery, a full mile.

Survived by her husband, Mr. Claude Baker, a daughter, Elizabeth, her parents, Mr. & Mrs. H. L. Aubrey, Sr., four brothers, H. L., Aubrey, and Floyd of Mt. Lebanon and Leighton Aubrey of Gibsland, and a sister, Mrs. Bessie Lou Andrews of Shreveport.
