Mr. Ray Aubrey, died Sunday night at nine o'clock Jan 1927 at the home of his mother-in-law, Mrs. Lelia Carter in Gibsland, La. Death was the result of pneumonia contracted while on a hunting trip in the Tensas swamp.
Son of Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Aubrey, Sr. of Mt. Lebanon. His was the third death in the family within the past three years.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 2: 30 o’clock at Mt. Lebanon Church, of which he was a member since early manhood. Services were conducted by Rev. J.C. Cox with interment in the family plot in Mt. Lebanon cemetery.
Survived by his wife, the former Miss Edna Carter; his parents, Mr. & Mrs. H. L. Aubrey, Sr. of Mt. Lebanon; by three brothers, H. L., Jr., Floyd and Leighton Aubrey; and one sister, Mrs. Bessie Andrews of Shreveport, La
