Wallace D. Hall, age 79, of Bald Knob, Arkansas died Thursday, November 26, 2009 in a Searcy hospital. Born on January 12, 1930 in Almond, Arkansas, he was the son of Charlie Hall and Etta Cooper Hall.

He was retired from Gen-Corp Automotive and was a member of the Velvet Ridge Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Virginia Mae (Henley) Hall of Bald Knob; one son, Vaughn Dean Hall and his wife, Kathy of Concord; one daughter, Deborah Mae Rutledge and her husband, Richard of Judsonia; two brothers, C.C. Hall of Michigan and Farrell Hall of Desha; three sisters, Retha Stevens of Desha, Lenora Gray and Charlsie Gray both of Michigan; seven grandchildren, Alesia Harsson, Kelli White, Kristie Pope, Kara Queary, Andrew Pope, Matthew Hall and Kayla Pope and six great grandchildren, Amber Dalton, Kendall White, Sydney Harsson, Lizzie White, Hannah Harsson and Tanner Queary.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Jessie Hall and infant brother and four sisters, Bonnie Gilpatrick, Mildred Delaney, Edith Daniels and Wanda Fountain.

Services are Sunday, November 29, 2:00 p.m., at the Velvet Ridge Church of Christ with Dean Fugett officiating. Interment will follow in the Concord Cemetery under the direction of Willis Funeral Service of Batesville.

Pallbearers are Carl Cook, Marty Martin, David Whitener, David Green, Hershel Jackson and D.L. Jones.

Honorary pallbearers are Bill King and Matthew Martin.
