Bonnie Jewell Hall Gilpatrick, 84, of Batesville died Monday, July 20, 1998, in a local nursing home.
Born in Arkansas on Aug 10, 1913, she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Etta Cooper Hall. She was a retired Postmaster for the Concord Post Office and had also been a school teacher, having taught at Dug Hill in a one room school house. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Concord.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Lou Spinks of Concord; four brothers, Farrell Hall of Locust Grove, AR, W.D. Hall of Bald Knob, AR, C.C. Hall and Jessie Hall both of Michigan; six sisters, Mildred DeLaney of Batesville, Retha Stephens of Desha, AR, Edith Daniel of Concord, Charlsie Gray and Lenora Gray both of Michigan and Wanda Fountain of Little Rock, AR; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sid Gilpatrick; a son, J.C. Gilpatrick; two grandsons, Jody Gilpatrick and Timothy Spinks and an infant brother.
