Jesse G. Hall, age 89, of Willis, Michigan, and a former resident of Arkansas, passed away Saturday, December 3, 2005, at his home. Born in Almond, Arkansas, on February 15, 1916, he was the son of the late Charlie Clevland and Etta (Cooper) Hall.

Mr. Hall proudly served his county in the United States Army. He was a World War II veteran and also served in North Korea and Italy. Mr. Hall retired from General Motors in 1980. He enjoyed gardening and traveling with his family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Lee (Staffen) Hall, on Oct. 24, 1990. Mr. Hall was also preceded in death by three sisters, Mildred Delaney, Bonnie Kilpatrick, and Wanda Fountain.

He is survived by four sons, Gerald Hall and his wife Diane Lynn of Willis, Michigan, Bruce Hall and his wife Jone of Saline, Michigan, Dennis Hall of Tecumseh, Michigan, and David Hall and his wife Darlene of Willis, Michigan; fourteen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren; three brothers, Carl Cleo Hall and his wife Fern of Belleville, Michigan, Farrell Hall and his wife Mary Ellen of Arkansas, and W. D. Hall and his wife Virginia of Arkansas; four sisters, Lenora Gray and Charlsie Gray, both of Warren, Michigan, and Edith Daniels and Retha Stevens, both of Arkansas; and also many nieces and nephews. Mr. Hall is also survived by other relatives and his many friends.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, Dec. 7, from 1:00-8:00 p.m. at Olmstead Funeral Home, Inc. Graveside services will be held Thursday, Dec. 8, at 12:00 noon in the Concord Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice in honor of Mr. Hall. Arrangements are by Olmstead Funeral Home, Inc.
