Longtime Sterling resident Jennie May Reinhardt, 90, of 827 Elwood St., died Friday at Devonshire Acres.
A private family funeral is Tuesday with Rev. John Roberts officiating. Friends may pay their respects until noon Tuesday.
Mrs. Reinhardt was born Jan. 31,1901, in Defiance, Ohio, to Harman and Louise (Albers) Suhr.
As a young child she joined her family in a move to Holyoke, where her father was engaged in farming and ranching. They later moved to Sterling, where Mrs. Reinhardt attended schools.
She worked at Logan County Bank, Logan County Clerk and Recorder's Office and was business manager for Good Samaritan Hospital until she moved from Sterling.
On Feb. 6, 1928, she married James Reinhardt in Stelring.
They moved to Portland, Ore., in January 1942. While there Mrs.Reinhardt was very active in the Sunrise Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star. She was an avid reader and student of the Bible.
She and her family returned to Sterling in 1947.
Survivors include a daughter, Beverly Humphries of Sterling; a sister, Esther Baldwin of Seattle; three granddaughters, Stacia Marin and Debbie Aucoin, both of Ster ling, and Kelly Vigen of Colorado Springs; and four great-grandchil then.
Chaney-Walters Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
