Mrs. Brauer had lived in this vicinity eight years, her husband, Heiko Brauer, having been engaged in farming here. She was born east of Winnebago in 1897 and was married at Rockford in 1920. Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Jane Maxine, seven years old, two sisters, Mrs. Jessie Brauer and Mrs. Grace Andrews, the first of Winnebago and the last mentioned of Rockford; four brothers, Frank and Joseph Pollard of Winnebago, Roy Pollard of Florida, and George Pollard of Rockford, and her mother, Mrs. Eliza Pollard, of Rockford.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday at the Oscar Brauer home, the Rev. A. W. Carlson officiating. Burial will be at Winnebago.
