George E. Pollard, 61 a Rockford resident all his life until moving to 574 N. E. 134th St., North Miami, FL last August (1965), died Tuesday afternoon, April 12, 1966 while visiting in Rochelle, IL after suffering a heart attack.
Born Nov. 22, 1904 in Winnebago, IL. Married Dorothy Hill in Indiana June 16, 1934.
He was a tool and die maker at Atwood Vacuum Machine Co., for 40 years.
Survivors include his widow, Dorothy; two daughters, Mrs. Alex Keller, Rockford and Carol Pollard, a student nurse at Jackson Memorial Hospital, North Miami; a grandchild Lisa Keller, Rockford; a sister, Mrs. Jessie Brauer, Winnebago; and a brother, Roy Pollard, Miami, FL.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday in Long-Klontz Funeral Home, 428 Park Ave. with the Rev. Dr. P. D. Mustric, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Willwood Burial Park.

Announcement has been made of the marriage of Miss Josephine Stuaba, of Chicago, and George Pollard, son of Mrs. Elizabeth Pollard, 421 Hinkley Ave., Rockford which was solemnized Wednesday afternoon in Freeport.
The couple will make their home in Rockford where the groom is associated with the Atwood Vacuum Cleaner Co.
