Franklin Weisemann, native of Jackson township, died Monday afternoon at 4:40 o'clock at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Edward Przybylinski, LaPorte, of a paralytic stroke at the age of 88 years, 4 months, and 27 days.
Mr. Weisemann was born near Burdick on July 1, 1855, and lived all his life in Porter and LaPorte counties. he was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Franz Weisemann, pioneers of Porter county.
Surviving are four children; Francis H. Weisemann of Jackson township, Mrs. Edward Przybylinski of LaPorte, Mrs. Laura M. Demorotaki of Westville rural route and Mrs. Clara E. Kreshock of Westville rural route; five grandchildren; one brother, William Weisemann of Chesterton, and one sister, Mrs. Dora Bartley of Valparaiso.
The body was brought to the Groff funeral home and services were held Wednesday morning at 9:30 in St. Patrick's Catholic church. Rv. E. F. Eisenhardt officiated. Burial was in St. Patrick's cemetery.
