John Benjamin Sherry died unexpectedly Tuesday, August 28, 1951, in his home in New Bethlehem, RD 4.

He was born May 19, 1882 in Ringgold township, Jefferson county, a son of the late Daniel and Mary (Martz) Sherry.

Surviving are three sons, Norman Rae, Phoenix, Ariz.; Willis Daniel, Dayton, RD 1, and John Coscie, Timblin.

Also surviving are the following brothers and sisters; Mrs. Verda Barnett, Vandergrift; Mrs. Lizzie Mowrey, Mayport; Mrs. Merle Davis, Salinsville, Ohio; Mrs. Ira Shovestall, Brookville; Erbie Sherry, Timblin; Herbie Sherry, Cadogan; Alonza Sherry, Templeton RD 1; Frank Sherry, Kelly Stataion and Melvin Sherry, Driftwood, and
Clara Sherry, sister-in-law, Hawthorn.

Friends are being received in the late home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in Mudlic Evangelical United Brethren church, Rev. A.F. Thomas will be in charge. Burial will be made in Mudlic cemetery.

The Wadding funeral home, Dayton is in charge of arrangements.
