Moved with family to Harper's Ferry, Jefferson county, Vrginia (West Virginia in 1863) then to Tenmile district of Harrison county, Virginia (now West Virginia), by covered wagon along the Northwestern Pike (now U S #50).

Census: 1850, age 7 in Harper's Ferry, Jefferson county, Virginia, now West Virginia with parents and siblings.

Census: 1860, age 16 in Tenmile district, Harrison county, Virginia, now West Virginia, 1/2 mile from relocated Point Pleasant church and cemetery and old Log school house with 5 siblings.

Census: 1870, age 29 in Walker district, Wood county, West Virginia (P O, Parkersburg) with husband and three others.

Death: location unknown (Husband reportedly died in 1871, no record found).

Father: John Wood b: 2 JAN 1808 in Frederick county, Virginia (now Clark county)
Mother: Cassandra Hess Brown b: 19 JUL 1813 in Warren county, Virginia.
