91 Year Old reno Resident Taken By Death
"Frederick Calton, 91, retired carpenter and farmer, died in a local (Reno) hospital this morning.
He was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, Sept 22, 1870, and lived in Reno five years. He resided at 973 Gear Street.
Mr. Calton was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints.
Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Velma Ralph, Mrs. Leah Weather, Mrs. Reva Griffin, all of Reno; Mrs. Anna V. Nielson, Wells; Mrs. Edith Stenovich, Lovelock; two sons, Frederick Lewis Calton, Lovelock and Christian E. Calton, Yakima, Wash.; two brothers, Herbert Calton, Salt Lake City, Utah, Dave Calton Tooele, Utah; and two sisters, Mrs. Mary E, Kammerman and Mrs. Pearl Smith, both of Seattle, Wash.; 16 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.
The body will be accompanied to the Burns Funeral Home in Elko for funeral services. Burial will be in the family plot in the Wells Cemetery. Ross-Burke Co is in charge of arrangements."
