I have been unable to verify who Will's parents were as to their relation to the Robson family. He started life living with John and Jane Robson and appears in the 1871 and 1881 census with their family. When Andrew took his family to England, he also brought Will.

Eight years after their arrival, Will married Alice Armenda Ross, the daughter of Eli and Sarah Wilkes Ross. They lived in Clark Twp. in Dixon County were Will was a farmer until after 1920.
