ALLEN, Loretta, age 91, of Middletown passed away June 20, 2007 at Hawthorne Glen Nursing Home. She was born March 9, 1916 in Troy, Ohio to Alfred and Catherine Miller. She was a homemaker. Loretta was preceded in death by her parents; husband Stanley S. Allen in 1996; grandson Eli Mann; brothers Edgar, Joe, Herman and Lawrence; and sisters Ruby and Bessie. She is survived by a son Stanley R. (Goldie) Allen of Middletown; daughters Phyllis (Denzil) Gillie of Avon, IN, Norma (Lexie) Roberts of Middletown, Barbara Griffith of Trenton and Brenda (James) Mann of Middletown; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; brother Franklin; and sisters Ethel, Laura, Josephine, Lucille, Arlene, and Ora Jean. A visitation will be held Sunday, June 24 2007 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. at Baker-Stevens Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be Monday, June 25, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. with Jerry Minor officiating also at the Funeral Home. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park.
