Lucille Richardson passed away December 24, 2016 at her home in Oklahoma City, OK. Lucille was born September 22, 1926 in Germantown, OH to Alfred and Catherine Miller. She was united in marriage to Arthur Richardson in 1947 in Middletown, Ohio. They were married for 64 years prior to his death in 2012.
Lucille was a devoted homemaker and was an active member of the Church of God (Anderson, Indiana) where she served as a Sunday School teacher and visited shut-ins. She loved God and lived by simple faith and trust in his goodness. She prayed that she would be in Heaven for Christmas, and her last words were, "I got my wish."
She is survived by three daughters and their spouses: Donna (Michael) Toombs, Oklahoma City, OK; Gwen (Chet) Ebner, Bellefontaine, OH; and Robyn (Bruce) Barnett, Spring Hill, TN. Also surviving are 4 loving granddaughters: Shelley Hitz, Stacey Reeder, Heidi Fancett, and Amy Bowers; 6 great-grandchildren: Lauren, Abigail, Allie, Claire, Ellyn and Ethan; and 2 sisters, Arlene Morris and Ora Jean Moon.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by 16 siblings and 2 grandchildren, Christa Toombs and Adam Barnett.
A service of remembrance and celebration will be held at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service in Anderson, IN (IS PENDING) followed by interment at East Maplewood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to The Christa Toombs Memorial Scholarship Fund, Anderson University, 1100 E 5th Street, Anderson IN 46012.
