CANADIAN - Ruth Johnson, 88, died Sunday, Aug. 23, 2009.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in North Fairview Cemetery in Wellington with the Rev. Marlin Felts officiating. Arrangements are by Johnson Funeral Home of Childress.
Mrs. Johnson was born May 7, 1921, in Dodson to Drew Emmett and Ella McClellan Wisdom. She was a home health caregiver and a member of First Baptist Church in Wellington.
Survivors include two sons, Emmett Johnson of Childress and Mack Johnson of Pennsylvania; a daughter, Luellin Lair of Gage, Okla.; a sister, Wilda Johnson of Wellington; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
