Eula Mae Bilton, 91, of Rusk, Texas, formerly of Bellmead, passed away Friday, Aug. 21, 2009, in Rusk, Texas. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 25, at Gerald Cemetery, with the Rev. Terry Wilkerson officiating. Visitation with the family will be 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 24, at Bellmead Funeral Home.

Eula Mae was born near Hillsboro, Texas, to the late Little Russell and Clara Mae (Battles) Cunningham. In the fall of 1932, she moved to Birome, Texas, where later she married Cecil Bilton on Feb. 15, 1932. They moved to Waco and she became a member of Oak Lawn Baptist Church, where she was a Sunday School teacher for many years. Eula then moved to a Health Care Center in Rusk, living there until her death.

Eula Mae was preceded in death by her husband; a sister, Ava Nell Riley; and brothers, Glen "Pete", Buford, and Ben "Shorty" Cunningham.

She is survived by her daughters, Peggy McCook, of Axtell, Carolyn Feland and Marilyn Bilton, both of Rusk; son, Anthony Bilton and wife, Patricia (Crow), of Axtell; sister, Betty Jo Stolsworth and husband, "J.C.", of Waco; brothers, Brian "R.B." Bilton and wife, Mozelle (Latimer), of Waco and Vergil Cunningham, of Robinson; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 16 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
