MRS. TIMMERMAN DIES; RITES SET

Mrs. Emma E. Timmerman, 79, of 718 East Washington Street died at Mercy Hospital Sunday after a week-long illness.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Beckman-Butherus Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery at West Liberty.

Mrs. Timmerman was born September 13, 1887, near Lone Tree, the daughter of Michael and Mary (Stamm) Schuessler. She was married January 27, 1909, to Adolph A. Timmerman.

Mr. and Mrs. Timmerman farmed northeast of Lone Tree until 1938 when they moved to the Washington Street home in Iowa City.

She was a member of the Grace United Church of Christ at Lone Tree.

Mrs. Timmerman was preceded in death by her husband in 1958, three sisters, two brothers and two sons in infancy.

Surviving are three brothers, Albert Schuessler of Iowa City, Steven of West Liberty, and Arthur of Lone Tree and four sisters, Mrs. Charles Carpenter, Miss Laura Schuessler and Mrs. Charles Perezek, all of Lone Tree, and Mrs. Roy Jehle of Moline.
