Albert G. Schuessler, age 90, formerly of Lincoln Township died Monday, March 2, 1990 at Beverly Manor Care Center following a long illness.
Services were held on Wednesday, February 28, 1990 at 1:30 PM at Callahan Funeral Home, Iowa City. Rev. Al Best officiated. Burial was at the Lone Tree Cemetery.
Albert Schuessler was born December 24, 1899 in Lincoln Township to Michael and Mary (Stamm) Schuessler. He attended a rural Johnson County School.
On November 26, 1927 he married Francis Burnett in Rock Island, Illinois. He farmed in Lincoln Township all his life and retired to Iowa City in 1951. He was a member of the Iowa City Eagle Lodge.
Survivors include his wife, Francis, of Iowa City and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and five brothers and seven sisters.
