On last Thursday evening, about six o'clock, John Huffman, son of ex-Poor Director Hubert Huffman, of Nettle Hill, this county, was run over by a passenger train on the West Penn railroad, at Denny Station, not far from Allegheny, Pa., and instantly killed. He was identified by a letter found upon his person written by his brother, Frank Huffman, a merchant of New Freeport, Pa.
