They were parents of three children: Harriet Emmaline, second wife of Augustus Seymour; Charles Francis, who first married Ida Seymour and after her death Lottie; and Curtis, who died unmarried when he was 21 years old.
None of their children had children, but they did have two step-grandchildren, Guy and Van Seymour, who were the sons of Gus and his first wife, James' sister Hannah Ursula Story.
