He is survived by a wife, Mrs. Jewell I. Linsman Pierce of Caruthersville; Two sons, Randall W. Pierce of Germantown, Tenn., and John L. Pierce of Morehead City, N.C.; Five brothers, Joe and Frank Pierce, both of Caruthersville, Harold Pierce of Charleston, Howard Pierce of Colonia, N.J., and Jerry Pierce of San Antonio; Two sisters, Laverne Carter of Caruthersville and Shelby Jean Wray of Hawaii; And five grandchildren, Andrea, Lesley, Jonathan, Weston and Jay D. Pierce.
Services were March 21 at 1 p.m. at Temple Baptist Church, the Rev. Jim Watkins and the Rev. B.H. Farnsworth officiating, with burial in Maple Cemetery, H.S. Smith Funeral Home of Caruthersville in charge.
